The European Commission has approved the new Hungarian renewable electricity support system (METÁR) in the middle of June, 2017. Accordingly, the Hungarian Ministry of National Development published the proposed new legislation for public consultation.
Besides several technical changes, the draft legislation contains three elements of high importance which might have significant effects on the regulatory landscape.
