The hectic energy market prices of recent years and the deteriorating economic environment have put energy-intensive domestic small and medium-sized enterprises in a particularly difficult situation. The REKK Foundation has therefore set itself the objective of helping SMEs active in the production of metalworking products to make the necessary energy modernization and achieve decarbonisation targets, thereby increasing their competitiveness.
Our research project, supported by the European Climate Foundation, aims to assess the costs and energy savings that can be achieved at the national economy level in the short and medium term. As part of the research with the involvement of energy experts from Wattmanager Ltd. we carried out a detailed energy audit at three companies in the sub-sectors of metal surface treatment and machining, metal structure and building element manufacturing and tool and general metal goods manufacturing.
At the workshop we will discuss our research results with representatives of the participating companies and experts active in the field of energy efficiency. The two-hour workshop can be attended in person or online. Due to the capacity of the room, personal participation is possible for a maximum of 25 people. We expect the participation of SMEs active in the metalworking industry and decision-makers active in the development of the support system.
The language of the workshop is Hungarian.
Participation is free, please register here.
