As the cost of investing in renewable energy is rapidly decreasing, project developers are less and less dependent on the current subsidy programmes and the available subsidy amounts. Have we reached a point in Hungary and the region where renewable energy investments can be made without subsidies? What constructs help investors to reduce risks and increase predictably? How can energy policy and grid considerations prevail in a world without subsidies?
We explored these questions with our invited speakers at our workshop.
