The aim of the Climate Friendly Materials Platform (“CFMP”) is to accelerate the transformation towards low-carbon basic material production and use, by working with policymakers, industry and civil society stakeholders to identify and tailor policy options that match national needs and ensure co-ownership of policy initiatives. The platform also aims at facilitating exchange across national analyses and discussions, contributing to the convergence of perspectives at EU level for identification and support of EU policy options.
During the workshop organised by the Hungarian project partner REKK invited speakers and participants analysed, discussed and contributed to a shared perspective on priority policy instruments targeting low-carbon basic material production and use.
