V4ETTP Budapest Workshop

11:00 - 17:00 CET, The Visegrad Four countries’ responsiveness to the Green Deal and Strategies on biomass and green gases

20 of June, - Corvinus University of Budapest, Faculty Club, 1093 Budapest, Fővám tér 8.

At the Budapest workshop of the V4 Energy Think Tank Platform (V4ETTP) we welcomed the government representatives of the Visegrad Four countries to a high-level panel discussion to discuss how the V4 could be more enthusiastic about the Green Deal. What are the common concerns and doubts that our countries face, and how the challenges could be addressed by forming the EU policies in a constructive manner? After the European Parliamentary elections, and before the nomination of a new Commission and the upcoming Hungarian and Polish Council presidency the dialogue on these questions was very timely.

This year’s Budapest Workshop focused on two topics of our yearly program, addressing the issue of non-intermittent renewables: the V4 countries’ green gas strategies and programs and the ways toward sustainable biomass use in the V4.

The recording of the event will be available soon.

The V4ETTP is kindly supported by the International Visegrad Fund.
