The European Commission has identified the Hydrogen Economy as a strategic contributor to the 2050 climate goals. Thus, the Commission's "A hydrogen strategy for a climate-neutral Europe" document has set out the main targets and the regulatory challenges in this field.

On 8th December, the representatives of the V4 countries consulted about the contribution of the region's hydrogen projects to the overall EU hydrogen economy and discussed the potential cooperation in the field of the hydrogen-based economy.

The event was organised by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, Hungary and the V4 Energy Think Tank Platform. The workshop was an official part of the Hungarian V4 Presidency program.
